Bite of the Blood Clan – Part Two
The room was empty except for you and a Dunmer standing on the other side of the room. The Dunmer was darkish gray with bright red eyes; he wore light gray robes with a purple and gold amulet that seemed to glow with power. Suddenly flames erupt out of your hands striking the Dunmer; the flames don’t envelop him they merely bounced off, coming back at you. You quickly conjure up a fire shield to block the redirected inferno. You know your magicka is depleted; you had been attacking and defending all night. As the smoke begins to disperse you notice the Dunmer walk out of the empty room. Following after him you see he’s down a narrow hall in the cave, he then enters a small hole in the cave wall. The small hole had led to a giant opening, all around were tables and cabinets along the wall. The Dunmer walks over to a cabinet in the middle of the room and takes out two vials of blood.
“Which one Daedra or human?” the Dunmer asks the smile wide on his face.
“Desari, why bother asking when you know I like them blended with a vampiric mixture,” you say to the Dunmer.
“I just thought you might have wanted to switch it up is all,” he says. He then takes a purple looking vial out and hands it to you. “Sunrise is almost upon us let us drink and rest, tonight we move into action.” He then drinks the contents of the vial.
You raise the vial toward him, quickly downing its contents.
You’re still not quite used to that being your only form of nourishment.
It had only two weeks had passed since you had been traveling to the city of Solitude. When a High Elf by the name of Zamen had approached and offered you a job, eradicate a clan of vampires from the cave you were in. The job offered five hundred septims for the amulet that Desari wore. You were a Mage hunter before becoming infected with vampirism, having no magical talent of your own you came to hate mages and all that used the arcane arts. You had just recently noticed that your Elven long sword, Mageseal, which is enchanted with a powerful silence spell, had been silencing you as well as those who were struck by it.

You awaken to Desari standing over you, geared in Ebony plate mail and an Ebony short sword. He hands you, Mageseal and your pack along with some Mithril armor, which you quickly put on. You feel yourself become silenced as you attach your blade to your hip and proceed in following Desari to the main hall of the cave. Upon entering the hall you see fourteen other vampires, all suited in Mithril and Glass armor. You see the chest with two dragon skulls being brought to you and Desari.
“I have a gift for you, Redguard,” he says. He opens the chest and taking out a ring and an Ebony long sword. “This ring has a spell absorption enchantment on it and this blade has a magicka drain enchantment, they are now yours.”
“Thank you Desari, but why are you giving me these?” you ask him. You then strap both swords to your back.
“Because it’s your destiny,” he says a serious expression. “Tonight we go to war!” The other vampires cheer and howl with excitement for the battle to come.

Two weeks earlier (the end of part one)
“Why would I ever wish to embrace such evil?” you growl anger in your voice.
“Because it’s not evil, it’s an opportunity to help the world,” Desari says his voice calm. “We don’t feast upon humans; some offer us their blood for protection from a group of necromancers who once lived in this very cave.” a look of nostalgia in his eyes. “There will be a war two weeks from tonight, either you aid us or go your own way.”
“Your kind are known to be master deceivers, how can I trust you?” you ask. You have a feeling that he may actually be telling you the truth.
“Our kind you mean, I bit you last night remember?” he says, with no expression on his face.
“And if I do decide to help you then what?” you ask. “I still don’t trust you, fiend.”
“If you help then not only will you be helping us out, but also the citizens of Solitude as well,” he says with a light grin. “But first I feel some training is in order.”
“Wait I never actually agreed to help you,” you say eying him. “Fine I guess it can’t be helped, just know I do this for the people of Solitude though.”
“Excellent, let us begin immediately,” he says walking out the door.
The sun had just set as you and the rest of the clan emerge from the cave entrance. Desari was at the head of the clan, you by his right side, and his Nord bride on his left. Looking out you see at least twenty figures in black; chanting some spell. At the front you notice Zamen, the Elf that had hired you to eradicate your clan. He’s staring at you with disdain, making a hand gesture the black figures hands start to glow.
“Tonight we send these black mages to hell!” Desari shouts, raising his sword and signaling the beginning of the war.
